Diane Lane looked gorgeous. She kept it simple and that made her stand out. Calista also looked good. Chloe? No. Just no.

I never thought Molly was attractive. When I first saw a photo of 'The Swans' I was hoping the red head was Christina Hendricks, but they would have to bind down those boobies.

Calista has had the best work done. No reason that bitch should still look alive let alone good at her age. That's Indiana Jones's money. Chloe is such an ugly middle aged woman, she certainly wasn't as bad when younger.

Diane has always just been beautiful. (And boring). 80lbs looks good on Naomi and the wrinkles are fine, she's a pretty old lady. (And mostly horrific actress).

The description of the live performance of the "drag queen swans" is hilarious.

Calista did a bit with her Ally McBeal costars on the Emmys and she still has it. Harrison Ford used to be hot, he still is handsome for an older man but now it must be like living with a grumpy grandpa.

I know I shouldn't judge, but when I see Chloe I think of her giving oral sex on camera in the movie Brown Bunny.

Some of them look good, but hell, this seems like a sad party. No one looks like is having fun.

Chloe getting married and having a baby seems to have really grounded her. She used to come across as insecure to me, hiding behind all of her crazy fashion and bucking anything remotely mainstream. It was cool while it lasted and she did some great and interesting work, but I'm glad to see that she's kind of grown out of that phase. She seems more comfortable in her skin these days. I remember reading a quote from her once where she said that above all else she really wanted to have a husband and a child, but that she didn't think it was in the cards for her—it sort of bummed me out, and I'm happy it didn't end up that way for her.

When she talks about BIG LOVE here, it sounds like it was a financial turning point, born of necessity. She was supporting both herself and her mom with her indi paychecks… and she was tired. (“I wanted to buy an apartment!”)

I loved her on Big Love.

That show was pure guilty pleasure watching.

I think of that show as being perfectly cast. Each performer was SO well suited to their role. Like, SUPREMELY well suited!

I’m kind of bummed Demi Moore insisted her hair stay so dark. Ann Woodward did not have black hair - it was a blondish brown. It doesn’t really matter, as hardly anyone today knows what the real lady looked like, but still I thought, “THAT’S Ann Woodward??”

The Supremes wouldn't have been caught dead wearing that black-and-whitish-striped gown that Demi had on.

A friend of mine worked at the studio that made STRIPTEASE and said it was outrageous how much retouching and photo approval Moore insisted on. And that was 30 years ago.

So rest assured she doesn’t look quite like that.

Chloe is an ok actress but really captured a vibe in the late 90s. I've heard she's very nice and a real professional and cinephile and that's carried her through. She always seems to be reading lines.

Chloe has done amazing work from Boys Don’t Cry to Big Love to that season on American Horror Story, and other things. I’m always interested if she’s involved.

Chloe's face isn’t a pleasure to gaze upon, sadly. And the persimmon lip is getting annoying.

But there are characters like that. Not everyone should look like some soap star.

Ann Woodward’s story was used for Dominic Dunn’s THE TWO MRS. GRENVILLE, which is I think his best novel. It was filmed for TV in 1987

Her feet were always swollen from some lymphatic (?) condition that caused constant pain, especially with standing so much In reception lines in high heels.

She spent the last decade of her life (at least) 24/7 in a big, fancy bed with her servants bringing her everything. Which, as a basically lazy person, I think sounds divine.

Her ex husband was gifted some huge, fabulously shabby old boat house or airplane hanger to live in on a private pier by his best friend. I’ve always wanted to live in an industrial space and one on an old pier sounds GREAT!

There will be scenes set in 1965, but much of the miniseries will be set in the early 1970s. The central date with be November, 1975, when "La Cote Basque" was published in Esquire and most of the swans stopped speaking to Truman and his life subsequently fell apart.

Jessica Lange is making a cameo as Truman's mother, Lillie Mae Faulk, who died in 1954. But I'm not sure if she'll be in a fantasy sequence or a 'real" sequence.
